DESCRIPTION
Originally four old Arabic houses transformed into a hotel
( 28 rooms), situated on the historical Straight Street Madhat Basha St. in the
heart of the old city of Damascus. From the terrace – Al Areesha – you can see
the Roman Arc of Triumph and Bab Sharky Gate( The Eastern gate, one of the seven
gates of old Damascus ) Once inside the hotel, you will be welcomed by the
amazing courtyards with its carved stone work over the niches, inlaid with
colored paste work, the central fountains and the fascinating scent of citrus
trees, jasmines and other flowers.
Start the day with our delicious breakfast in the - Damasco Hall – decorated
with its authentic stalactites ceiling.
Once you have savored our breakfast, and since Beit Zaman is perfectly situated
within an easy access to the main touristic sight of old Damascus, you can start
your exploration by visiting Mosques, Churches, Khans, Hammams, Oriental Souks
and others …..
Back to Beit Zaman, you can choose between relaxing at Jillak Hall and enjoying
a cup of tea under a two-hundred years old ceiling made of green cloth and
mirrors or having a Hubble Bubble at Dardashe Café which overlooks the Straight
Street. You can also, have a drink at our Abou Nawas Cave Bar.

Damascus region that is directly on a main street

named as ‘The Straight Street'; it is an ancient
road within the historical Old Damascus area that
was originally paved in the Roman era set between
the historical Midhat Basha area and Bab Sharki, a 2
millennium old gate. Furthermore, this is the only
boutique hotel in Old Damascus region to offer valet
parking services. All rooms have an ancient wooden
ceiling, antique furniture, and mosaic decorations
